I am a huge fan of fantasy books and I came across the Irish Goddess of war, The Morrigan in the book series The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel by Michael Scott. I love ravens and therefore I was immediately attracted to this Goddess. While working on this costume, I shifted from designing a costume for The Morrigan, towards the Raven Queen (a D&D Goddess). I designed and made this whole outfit myself: I 3D designed, printed and then painted both the mask and the sword. I wrapped leather around the hand-piece of the sword. The cape I also made myself. I intented to cover the cape with black feathers but I haven’t figuered out how to do this best, I would still want to finish it.
