About Me

Hi, my name is Wobbe and I’m a born & bred Amsterdammer.
For me, being creative is all about expressing who I am. In September 2024, I will be starting at the art academy in Utrecht, the HKU, with the broad preparatory course.
I’ve been homeschooled all my life until now, so I’ve always had plenty of opportunities to explore my passions and interests.
I love designing, creating and making, and I am passionate about experimenting and playing with different materials, techniques, styles and ideas.
I love Greek mythology and that’s where I draw much of my inspiration from.
Currently, I am mostly focusing on photography, goldsmithing, desiging fashion and cosplay outfits (using the software Clo3D) and 3D-printing (using Blender and my two 3D- printers, a filament printer and a resin printer).
I am currently following a photography course given at the Nederlandse Foto Vakschool, by Sparkel2Doen.
I volunteer as an instructor assistant at OCCII Kinderpret and ADM Greenfield and in 2023 I had my first paid commission to create a wedding ring.

More fun facts about me:

– I am a Happy Dyslectic. I have always loved books but I hated reading until I was 16. Now, I love to read, as long as it’s in English and not Dutch.

– I love fun facts ;-)!

– I am a history geek… especially ancient civilisations and their mythologies… I also visited archaeological sites all over the world.

– I always keep interesting finds in my pockets.

– I love Dungeons & Dragons! I create characters, storylines, mini-figures and props.

– I have a fetish for sour sweets 🤤
